Mailing lists are a tool for communication. The mailing list is a list of persons who will receive all mail sent to the list.
Features of Ed Greenberg’s Mailing Lists
- One-to-many or many-to-many: You can allow discussiongs or restrict posting to certain authorized users.
- Moderation: You can set certain members so that their postings must be reviewed.
- Archives: All messages can be saved in an archive for later review on the web. The archive can be open to all, limited to members or limited to you.

Sponsorship: A sponsored list is one that carries paid advertising. If somebody pays you, by cash or barter, to carry their message, the list is a sponsored list.
Users must "opt in" or confirm their membership on the list. You may not add people who do not give permission. If your existing list can be shown to be an opt-in list, it can be moved to this service.
Use of the list must conform to the Acceptable Use Policy. The list cannot be used for unsolicited commercial email (spam).
