Mailing lists and forums
As more and more people get on the net, you can drive interest and participation by announcing events and reminding members with an email message. (See sample)
Since your members share a common interest, what better way to keep them engaged between meetings than to give them an online place to talk.
You can have outgoing-only lists, discussion lists, or web forums, for your members to communicate. They will get more engaged and will want to see each other at meetings and events.
Web Sites
Your organization exists on members. As people move on, you must be constantly in the public eye in order to bring interested parties into the fold. Present your mission, activities, meeting times and locations, etc., with a high-quality web site.
If you have premium information that only members can access, a password-protected area can be made available.
You can even accept new members with a web form, and let them pay their dues online.
Email boxes and forwarding
Your officers change each year, but their email addresses need not. You can forward president@yourclub.org to whoever is President, or membersinfo@yourclub.org to the membership secretary.
You can also send an automatic reply to info@yourclub.org, so that people can write for more info and get back the message you want to send.
If your officers want to check special mailboxes, we can set that up as well.
